Octomore Edition 17.3 is a heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, bottled at 60.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a single-farm, single-field and single-vintage whisky, made from Islay Concerto barley grown in Irene's Field on Octomore Farm, two miles from the distillery.
The barley was harvested in 2019 and the spirit distilled in 2020. After five years it was bottled, having matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and second-fill European oak casks that previously held Ribera del Duero, Sauternes, Eiswein and Syrah. Its peat level is 132.1 PPM.
