Port Charlotte 10 Years is a heavily peated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich. It is the first peated whisky made with barley grown entirely on the island.
The whisky matures for ten years in ex-bourbon and ex-French wine casks.
The nose opens with fresh citrus zest, sea-washed peat, pineapple and seaweed. The palate is fruity and full-bodied, with light smoke, caramel, liquorice and acacia honey. The finish is dry and mineral, with salted popcorn, mango and coffee.
