Port Charlotte PMC:01 is a heavily peated single malt from the 2013 vintage, and the sixth release in the Cask Exploration series from Bruichladdich.
It is the first time Port Charlotte spirit has matured in Pomerol wine casks. Pomerol is the smallest of the major Bordeaux appellations, and the fruit-laden oak has shaped this malt considerably.
The flavour influence of the casks is described as black berry, plum and aged leather.
