Port Charlotte SYC: 01 is a heavily peated single malt from Bruichladdich, in a 75cl bottle. It was matured in Syrah casks, the first time the distillery's cask exploration series has used them.
The wine casks take the heavily peated spirit in a new direction, and their influence works alongside the elegant peat smoke of the malt.
It is described as bringing succulent berries, sweet strawberry notes and hints of warm citrus.
