Rock'ndaal 01.1 is a single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, bottled for the Feis Ile festival in 2022. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, with 2,500 bottles produced.
On the nose there is ripe apple, juicy pear and dried apricot, with cinnamon, fresh mint and a little oak. The palate brings honey, toasted malt, dark chocolate and a touch of sea salt on a velvety texture. The finish is long and warming, with smoky vanilla and lingering pepper.
