This is a Bruichladdich 12 Year Old Private Cask Bottling made for Sir Ian Macdonald of Sleat. It comes from a single sherry cask of the small type known as a 'Blood Tub', numbered 785.
The whisky was distilled on 29 November 2001 and bottled on 18 September 2014, after twelve years in the cask. Blood Tubs mature spirit faster than a regular cask, and this one yielded only 30 bottles.
