The Classic Laddie is a single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, made entirely from Scottish barley. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle, a strength chosen to bring out the flavour of the barley, and it is non-chill-filtered with no added colour.
The nose is of barley, mint, wild flowers, mead, primrose and cherry blossom, with lemon, mandarin and honey appearing as it opens. On the palate come oak, sweet malted barley, ripe green fruit and brown sugar.
