An 11-year-old Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, The Organic, from the 2011 vintage and bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made only from organically grown barley supplied by Scottish farmers.
The bottling reflects the distillery's stated aim of making natural and sustainable whisky. It has no added colour and is not chill-filtered.
Notes of caramel, vanilla, ripe fruit and a touch of cereal are how it is usually described.
