Turas Mór Edition #2 is an 18 year old unpeated Islay single malt from Bruichladdich, created in collaboration between whisky expert Mitch Bechard and adventure creator Craig Holmes. It is bottled at 48.5% in a 70cl bottle, from an outturn of 347 bottles.
The whisky was matured in ex-Bourbon casks, then finished for a year in Barbados rum casks.
Tasting notes run from honey, butterscotch and citrus into tropical fruit and grilled pineapple. The finish is bold yet smooth, with soft oak, warming spice and a touch of Caribbean sweetness.
