BSB 103 Brown Sugar Bourbon Flavored Whiskey (75cl, 51.5%)

BSB 103 is a flavoured whiskey on a bourbon base, the higher-strength version of Brown Sugar Bourbon, bottled at 103 proof (51.5%). It uses the same recipe as the original, which began in 2012 at Heritage Distilling Co. in Gig Harbor, Washington. The brand is now owned by Jamie Foxx. The bourbon mash of corn, rye and malted barley is flavoured with natural brown sugar and cinnamon, and the higher strength means less sweetness and more whiskey character. The nose is brown sugar and cinnamon over a clear note of bourbon. The palate carries the same flavours with whiskey warmth, oak and spice, and the finish is a lingering sweet heat.
