This is Buchanan's Black & White, a blended Scotch whisky from the 1960s, in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. It was first produced by the London whisky blender founded by James Buchanan. The original name was House of Commons, after the official whisky there, and the nickname that described the black and white labelling eventually replaced it as the official brand. The black Scottish Terrier and white West Highland Terrier motif was Buchanan's own idea from the 1890s. The brand is now owned by Diageo.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
