Buchanan's Green Seal is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% (80 proof) in a 750ml bottle. At its centre is a single malt from Glen Elgin Distillery in Speyside, never released before, made with an experimental wine yeast. Master Blender Craig Wallace built the blend around it, using experimental stocks and American oak bourbon casks.
Green Seal was created as a tribute to Latin culture and joined the Buchanan's range as a permanent expression in October 2025. The bottle is round and emerald green, modelled on the Buchanan's seal.
The nose is tropical fruit and zesty citrus with vanilla, toffee and apricot jam. The palate brings citrus, milk chocolate, vanilla, warm wood spice and dried fruit. The finish is smooth and gently sweet, with toffee, apricot and soft oak spice.
