Buchanan's Master Blended Scotch Whisky (75cl, 40%)

Buchanan's Master is a blended Scotch selected personally by the Buchanan's Master Blender, Keith Law, whose signature appears on the label. It is built from mature casks in the Buchanan's house style, with no age statement, which leaves the blender free to choose casks on flavour alone. It is bottled at 40% (80 proof). It is a light amber colour. The nose is buttered lemon, praline and cream, with almond cake, toasted cereal, vanilla and a whisper of peat. The palate is medium bodied and creamy, with lemon pound cake, pralines, dried cherry, dark chocolate, honey and gentle spice over light smoke. The finish is zesty, with lemon zest and smoky caramel.
