Buchanan's Pineapple is a flavoured spirit drink built on Buchanan's blended Scotch whisky, with pineapple, citrus and other natural flavours added. Because of the added flavouring, the label reads Spirit Drink rather than Scotch whisky. It comes in a 750ml bottle at 35% ABV (70 proof).
The nose is juicy pineapple with a hint of zesty citrus. On the palate, light caramel and vanilla from the Scotch base give way to sweet pineapple, and the finish is bright, with tropical fruit and a gentle whisky warmth.
