Buchanan's Red Seal Scotch Whisky (75cl, 40%)

Buchanan's Red Seal is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is built around Dalwhinnie single malt, with other Highland malts, an Islay malt and mature grain whiskies. The blend was inspired by the Royal Household whisky that James Buchanan & Co. made for the court of King Edward VII. It comes in an embossed decanter-style bottle marked with the red seal, inside a gate-fold box. In the glass it is described as light on the palate, with assertive mandarin and apple, and a finish of smoke, ginger and lime.
