Buffalo Trace 90 Proof is a Kentucky bourbon from a distillery on the banks of the Kentucky River. It is bottled at 90 proof, or 45% ABV, and uses a recipe created in 1999.
The character is rounded and pastry-like, with vanilla, cardamom and orange. The palate is creamier, supported by fine wood, and the finish brings caramelised popcorn, a nod to the corn at the heart of bourbon.
