Buffalo Trace is a Kentucky straight bourbon, the flagship of the distillery of the same name. The mash is made from corn, rye and malted barley, and the bourbon is aged in new oak barrels in historic warehouses.
Each batch is drawn from no more than 40 barrels, aged on the middle floors of the warehouses where the temperature fluctuation is greatest. It is described as having plenty of vanilla, barrel char and spicy complexity.
