Buffalo Trace – O.F.C. 2004 Vintage Bourbon (45%)

A vintage bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, distilled in 2004 and aged for over 18 years before bottling at 45% ABV. It is part of the O.F.C. vintage collection, named after Old Fashioned Copper, the original name of the distillery. The bourbon is presented in a hand-cut crystal bottle with copper accents, inside a display box with a plaque noting key events from 2004. The nose offers dark cherry, aged oak and vanilla bean. On the palate come smooth caramel, toasted spices, dried fruit and butterscotch. The finish is long and layered, with cinnamon, leather and molasses.
