Buffalo Trace – Six Millionth Barrel Bourbon

This is a straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace, released to mark the distillery's six millionth barrel. The barrel was filled in 2008 and signed by three generations of the Johnson family. Since Colonel Blanton established Warehouse V, every millionth barrel has been housed there. The bourbon is aged for more than a decade, and only 400 bottles were released. Each comes in a custom wooden display box with a clear viewing window. The flavour is described as warm caramel and vanilla over seasoned oak, with a velvety smooth finish.
