Bulleit 10 Year Old is a straight rye whiskey from Kentucky, bottled at 45.6% in a 75cl bottle. The mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley, and the whiskey spends at least 10 years in new, charred American white oak barrels.
The nose shows pear, caramel, toffee and dry, buttery oak, with rye spice running through it. The palate is led by spice, with vanilla, lemon zest, baking spices and a faint mineral edge. The finish is long, with gentle oak warmth and spiced cereal.
