Bulleit – '87 Blended American Whiskey Finished with Toasted Staves (75cl, 45%)

Bulleit '87 is a blended American whiskey that combines bourbon and rye, the first such blend from the brand. The name is a tribute to 1987, the year Bulleit Frontier Whiskey was founded, and is not an age statement. The bourbon is made at Bulleit's distillery in Shelbyville, Kentucky, and the rye comes from MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Each is aged separately for at least four years, then finished in its own barrel with toasted American and French oak staves for four to six weeks before blending and bottling at 45%. It offers aromas of caramel, brown sugar and baking spice.
