Bulleit 95 Rye Whiskey (75cl, 45%)

Bulleit 95 Rye is a straight rye whiskey bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It takes its name from the mash: 95% rye and 5% malted barley, well above the 51% legal minimum for American rye. It was launched in 2011. The whiskey is distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana to Bulleit's specifications and bottled by the Bulleit Distilling Co. in Louisville, Kentucky. The Bulleit name goes back to Augustus Bulleit's 1830s whiskey, a tradition his great-great-grandson Tom Bulleit revived in 1987. Russet in colour, it is described as having rich oaky aromas, a smooth palate of vanilla, honey and spice, and a crisp, clean finish with long, lingering flavours.
