Bulleit Barrel Strength Bourbon Batch 7 (75cl, 60.1%)

Bulleit Barrel Strength Batch 7 is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled uncut at 60.1% ABV in a 75cl bottle. No water is added after the barrels are dumped, and it is non-chill-filtered. It was aged and bottled at Stitzel-Weller in Louisville. The mash bill is Bulleit's high-rye recipe of 68% corn, 28% rye and 4% malted barley. It matured in new American white oak barrels charred to a #4 char, with #2-char heads. The colour is a medium amber. The nose shows gentle spice and sweet oak, and the palate has smooth maple, oak and nutmeg. The finish is long, dry and satiny, with light toffee and deepened oak.
