Bulleit – Barrel Strength Bourbon (75cl)

Bulleit Barrel Strength is a Kentucky bourbon in a 750ml bottle, made with the same high-rye mash bill as Bulleit Bourbon. The emptied barrels were combined into a single batch and no water was added, so it is non-chill-filtered and bottled uncut. It was aged and bottled at Stitzel-Weller in Louisville. Because it comes straight from the barrel, the strength varies by batch, generally between 120 and 125 proof. The colour is medium amber. The nose is gently spicy with sweet oak, and the palate shows maple, oak and nutmeg. The finish is long, dry and satiny, with light toffee and deeper oak.
