This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Bulleit, bottled in bond at 50% (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is the first Bulleit Bottled-in-Bond batch, made from the 2017 distilling season.
It was distilled by Bulleit Frontier Whiskey in Shelbyville, Kentucky, and bottled in Bardstown. As a bonded bourbon, it comes from one distillery and one distilling season, and was aged for at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse.
The aroma is spicy and fruity. On the palate there are lightly toasted oak, maple and nutmeg, followed by a sweet butterscotch finish.
