Bulleit Bourbon Mesquite Smoked Malt Limited Release (75cl, 46.5%)

Bulleit Bourbon Mesquite Smoked Malt is a limited release Kentucky straight bourbon, in a 750ml bottle at 46.5% ABV. The mash bill is unusual: 30% mesquite smoked malt, 5% distiller's malt and 65% corn. The smoke is meant to be gentle and sweet, closer to barbecue smoke than to peat. The colour is golden amber. The nose has caramelised sugar and smoky mesquite, the palate is sweet and creamy with vanilla, oak and smoke, and the finish is light, with soft barbecue smoke.
