Bulleit Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon at 45% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is made in small batches and is now owned by Diageo. The mash bill is 68% corn, 28% rye and 4% barley, and the rye gives it a spicy character.
The bourbon has matured for six to eight years in charred oak casks, which add a touch of smoke. The tasting notes list sweet oak, maple, walnut, toffee and a little smoke.
