Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 45%)

Bulleit Bourbon is a straight bourbon from Kentucky, bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is inspired by the whiskey Augustus Bulleit pioneered more than 150 years ago. The mash bill is 68% corn, 28% rye and 4% malted barley, a high rye content that gives the bourbon its spicy character. Special strains of yeast and Kentucky limestone-filtered water are part of the recipe. The nose offers maple, nutmeg, light toffee and a touch of orange peel. On the palate there is vanilla, dried apricot and caramel, layered with rye spice and toasted oak. The finish is long, dry and satiny, with lingering spice and gentle warmth.
