Bulleit Mesquite Smoked Malt Bourbon (75cl, 46.5%)

Bulleit Mesquite Smoked Malt Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 46.5% in a 75cl bottle. It is Bulleit's first straight bourbon made without rye: the mash bill is 65% corn, 30% malted barley smoked over mesquite wood and 5% standard distiller's malt. The bourbon was distilled in November 2018, aged six years and bottled in autumn 2025. It was released as a one-time limited edition in March 2026. The smoke comes from the grain rather than additives, set against a high corn sweetness. Tasting notes describe caramelised sugar with a subtle hint of mesquite smoke on the nose, sweet vanilla, rich oak and toasted grain on the palate, and a light, lingering barbecue-smoke finish.
