Bulleit Rye is a straight rye whiskey, first released in 2011 and bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV). Its mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley.
It is russet in colour.
The nose is rich and oaky. On the palate it is smooth, with hints of vanilla, honey and spice, and the finish is crisp and clean, with flavours that linger.
