Bulleit Rye is a straight rye whiskey from the Bulleit brand, bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Its mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley, and it is matured in new charred American oak barrels.
The nose has bright rye spice, orange peel, toasted oak and light caramel. On the palate it is bold and crisp, with black pepper, vanilla, baking spice and citrus zest. The finish is long and dry, with lingering spice, oak warmth and subtle sweetness.
