Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Cask Strength is an unpeated Islay single malt, the 2025 release, bottled at 56.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour.
It was matured on Islay in a mix of first, second and refill Oloroso sherry casks, and the coastal warehouses add a gentle saline note.
Golden raisins and toasted nuts show on the nose. The palate brings dried fruit, cocoa, hazelnut and spice, and the finish carries oak, tobacco and sea salt.
