Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Cask Strength is a 2025 release of Islay single malt from the distillery founded in 1881 at the mouth of the Sound of Islay. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matures in a mix of first-fill, second-fill and refill Oloroso casks.
Raisins, almonds, brine and subtle oak polish lead the nose. The palate offers dark fruits, salted caramel, nutmeg and a whisper of coastal smoke, and the finish carries dried fruit sweetness, maritime salt and gentle spice warmth.
