Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a mix of sherry and bourbon casks and bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and free of artificial colouring.
The nose brings dried red berries, saddle leather, tobacco, sherry and hazelnut, with a touch of brine. On the palate the texture is silken, with golden dried fruit, toasted nuts and a subtle note of peat that stays in balance. The finish is delicate and slightly honeyed.
