Bunnahabhain 12 Years Old is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, described as the beginning of the Bunnahabhain range.
It is matured in a mix of sherry, bourbon and refill casks, chosen to bring out the nutty, sherry-led character of the distillery. The colour is russet gold.
The nose is fresh and aromatic, fruity and floral, with dried fruit and a little smoke. The palate is light and fruity, nutty and sweet, with slight hints of vanilla and caramel. The finish is long, rich and full-bodied.
