This is a 15-year-old Bunnahabhain from Islay, the first release in the Westering Home Collection, called An Cuan Garbh No. 1. It has been finished in white port and is bottled at a cask strength of 55.9% without chill-filtration.
The texture is silky and syrupy. Dark cherries, plums and roasted hazelnuts come through, together with the salty sea character associated with the distillery.
