This is a single cask, cask strength Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, bottled by Duncan Taylor for its Dimensions series. It was distilled in October 2002, matured in sherry oak and bottled in July 2020 at 17 years old and 54.9% abv. One of 210 bottles, in a 70cl size.
The nose brings tropical fruits, pineapple, fresh mint and a touch of salty sea air, with hints of toffee. The palate is rich, robust and almost velvety, with strong tropical fruit tempered by sweet almond and cocoa, plus light saltiness and charred driftwood. The finish is long, with sweet fruits and charred oak.
