This is an 18 year old Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, bottled in 2013 at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured mainly in sherry casks, alongside bourbon wood, and bottled without chill-filtration or added colour.
The nose is described as dried fruit, dark toffee and roasted nuts, with a hint of salty sea air. On the palate it is full-bodied, soft and balanced, with chocolate, oak spice and a fine sweetness, followed by a long finish.
