Bunnahabhain 18 Year Old is a single malt bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. This was the first release, of 1,500 bottles.
The nose is toffee, marshmallow and spices, and fairly sweet, with stewed fruit. The palate contrasts with that: nutty, dry and quite hot at first, with a touch of pepper. Caramelised fruits lead into a long finish of baked banana.
