Bunnahabhain – 19 Year Old 2001 - 1st Fill Oloroso Butt #3629 - Bedford Park is a single malt whisky from Bunnahabhain (Islay). Aged 19 years, bottled at 56% ABV, 70cl. Founded in 1881 on Islay's remote northeast coast, Bunnahabhain historically produced a mild, unpeated spirit for blending, in contrast to the island's peaty tradition. After periods of closure and reduced output, the distillery was revived under Burn Stewart (now Distell), which shifted focus toward single malt. Maritime warehouses, natural spring water, and slow distillation contribute to its nutty, coastal style. Recent years have seen major expansion, new visitor facilities, and a surge in popularity for both core expressions and sherried special releases. Bunnahabhain is now celebrated for rich, unpeated Islay whisky with occasional peat-limited editions. This is a 19-year-old single malt from the Bunnahabhain Distillery. Distilled in 2001, and fully matured in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt #3629. The now iconic label from Toronto-based artist Alexander Perkins has been updated to include an ode to both The Whisky Explorer and Southern Ontario Sippers.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
