Bunnahabhain 1968 Auld Acquaintance is an Islay single malt distilled in 1968 and bottled in 2002 for that year's Hogmanay celebration. Matured in sherry casks, this limited edition comprises 2,002 bottles at 43.8% ABV.
Apricot, pear, dried fig and blackcurrant meet cinnamon, clove and gentle oak on the nose. The creamy palate brings ripe dark fruit and toffee, with almond and light vanilla. Dark chocolate and roasted coffee linger through a long, warming finish.
