Bunnahabhain 1990 33 Year Old – Dalswinton Series Second Edition, Claxton's

This is a single malt from Bunnahabhain, distilled on 24 October 1990 and matured in an Oloroso sherry cask. It was bottled in autumn 2024 as the Second Edition of the Claxton's Dalswinton Series, following the First Edition of winter 2021/22. Each bottle was hand-engraved with a story from the Dalswinton Estate by the artist Jamie Stryker, and comes in a wooden frame. The nose offers sweet tobacco smoke, delicate marzipan, sweet apples and freshly baked apple pie. The palate is finely sweet, with gentle sherry notes, mild smoke, oak and spice. It is full-bodied and robust. The finish brings cinnamon, oak and more soft sherry, with a long fruitcake aftertaste.
