This Bunnahabhain is a 19 year old Islay single malt released for Fèis Ìle 2021, in a 70cl bottle at 53.6% ABV. Only 1,333 bottles were filled.
It was matured in American oak and finished in Marsala wine casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The notes describe ripe pears, dried apricots and blackberries on the nose, honeyed figs, baked apple and toasted almonds on the palate, and spiced caramel, smoky cedar and balanced oak in the finish.
