Bunnahabhain – 2002 Madeira Cask Finish is a single malt whisky from Bunnahabhain (Islay). Bottled at 53% ABV, 70cl. Matured in madeira cask finish. Sadly like most events of the first half of 2020, Fèis Ìle was cancelled in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Bunnahabhain was due to celebrate its day of the festival on Friday 29th May. This whisky is one of three releases that were planned for the event, both of which were made available online instead. This was distilled in October 2002 and finished in Madeira casks. It was bottled in January 2020. A whisky distillery on the isle of Islay, notable as one of just two on the island where the preferred production is a non-peated single malt. It has been a part of the Scotch whisky holdings of the South African Distell Group since 2013.
