Bunnahabhain 25 Year Old is a single malt with a strong sherry influence and a spiced oak glow. Amber gold in colour, it shows the sweet, oaky layers and nutty flavours that come from a long time in cask.
The nose is rich sherry opening into sweet caramel and polished leather. Sweet berries and cream arrive first on the palate and develop into roasted nuts and malt. The finish is soft and dry, with a hint of sugar and spiced oak that lingers.
