This is a 28 year old unpeated Islay single malt from Bunnahabhain, bottled by Wemyss Malts under the Untold Riches name in a 70cl bottle at 49.1% ABV.
It was put together from 31 hogsheads and sherry butts, and it is non-chill-filtered with no added colouring.
The profile is built around brown sugar, banana loaf, rich toffee and cherry liqueur. The finish is long and layered, with caramel chew, warming spice, saffron threads and a hint of coastal air.
