Bunnahabhain 40 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the distillery's core range, matured in sherry casks and bottled at 41.9% ABV.
The nose brings tropical fruit, banana, berries, creamy toffee, vanilla and nuttiness, with delicate sweet oak behind. On the palate it opens with sweet malt and creamy caramel, then vanilla, berries, toasted nuts, banana and pineapple. The finish is long, sweet and fruity.
