This is a 40 year old single cask Bunnahabhain from Islay, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spent all forty years in a single sherry cask, in a warehouse on the shores of the Sound of Jura.
It is a complex whisky with considerable depth of flavour. The palate brings stone fruits, leather and pine sap woven together with briny, coastal notes, alongside figs, peaches, ginger and toffee.
