Bunnahabhain – 40 Year Old (70cl)

This is a 40 year old single malt from Bunnahabhain in a 70cl bottle. It matured for four decades in warehouses by the sea, in casks that were left undisturbed until the blending team came across them in the warehouse ledgers. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour, with a rich, lemony gold appearance. The nose brings tropical fruit, banana, berries, creamy toffee, vanilla and sweet oak. The palate is sweet malt and creamy caramel with toasted nuts, banana and pineapple, and the finish is long, sweet and fruity.
