Bunnahabhain Abhainn Araig is a single malt bottled in 2022 as the Feis Ile 2022 release, at 50.8% abv in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in bourbon casks and then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry octaves.
The nose brings chocolate, powdered ginger and cigar box. The palate is velvety, opening with creamy milk chocolate, sweet raisins and dried raspberries, before balsamic vinegar and honeyed macadamias appear. The finish is deep and rich, with dark toffee and a final burst of cinnamon spice.
